Terms and conditions

Terms of use for CarmenDeViboral.com: scope of the information, third party bookings, intellectual property and governing law.

By using CarmenDeViboral.com you accept these terms. They are short and to the point.

Who we are

CarmenDeViboral.com is an independent travel guide created by Julián Durango Gallego, in Sabaneta, Antioquia, Colombia. Contact: contacto@juliandurango.com. We are not the El Carmen de Viboral town hall, its tourism office, any ceramics workshop or Booking.com. More about us.

The information in this guide

We check prices, opening times, distances and services against official sources or Booking.com and show the date we checked. Things still change: hotel prices vary by date and season, and museums, workshops and operators adjust fees and hours. Always confirm with the official source before you travel. The guide is for information only and does not replace your own judgment or instructions from local authorities, especially for river, waterfall, hiking or road trips.

Bookings

We do not sell anything directly. When you book from a link in this guide, you book with Booking.com or the property, and their payment, change, cancellation and refund terms apply. Any claim about a booking is handled with them. More in our affiliate disclosure.

Intellectual property

The texts, structure and design of this guide are ours; you may quote short passages with a link to the original page. Wikimedia Commons photos are used under their licenses and credited to their authors. Images labeled as illustrative were generated with AI and do not show the actual place. Third party trademarks belong to their owners.

External links and liability

We link to third party websites so you can check facts, but we do not control their content. We do our best to keep the guide accurate and online, without guaranteeing it; to the extent Colombian law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from decisions based only on this information or for third party services.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. If we change them, we will publish the new version here with its date. Personal data is covered in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
